Another elegant white linen hanky with four corners of threadwork, tiny Madeira flowers and dots. The hem is turned and hand sewn with appliqued bits that extend into the hanky. The hanky has been used and has a tiny hole near the hem (see last photo). It is 11 inches square.
This hanky is not snow white but more ivory. I don't know if this is from age or if it was make of ivory linen. I have not laundered this hanky to see if it whitens.
